This part is machined to be the best solution for a quick coupler on an ice cream freezer. The problem with many couplers and love joy couplers, is that they do not handle salt water very well. As soon as those cheap couplers get a little salt water in them, they corrode and are not easily able to be disconnected.

The Homeplace - Quick Attach Coupler is designed fit easily together and handle salt water splashes without a problem. We like using stainless steel whever possible for the best long term solution.
