I grew up eating off Mom and Dad's table in Holmes County, Ohio. Cooking was the least of my interests during my teenage years, but bless my mom, she did try to teach me. When I married and moved to a new community 350 miles away, I relied heavily on detailed recipes and cookbooks to prepare food for my own table.

Now I am excited to share with you a collection of over 900 recipes that have been submitted by the ladies of the Clare Old Order Amish Community in central Michigan. I have also included my own personal favorites from my mom, aunts, friends, and co-workers from the Mt. Hope Auction, all which bring memories of good times. This cookbook is filled with hundreds of favorites and lots of inspiration for cooks of all ages.
