Thanks for letting us know about a piece of metal that was not cleaned out properly. I am surprised you found this as well. I am very sorry this was not noticed before shipping, and am thankful that it did not get in the ice cream. I suppose it just goes to show we are human and have the ability to make mistakes. I will pass this constructive criticism along to the folks in the shop who do the final inspection and packing.

I would love to hear more about your experience with the rest of the freezer. The cost of the freezer is a reflection of the costs of solid stainless steel, insulated poly tub, and USA manufacturing where employees receive a living wage. It is NOT a result of high profit margins like luxury brands where half the price of the product is profit. If the freezer does not live up to your expectations, you are welcome to return the freezer.

We appreciate your understanding and patience with our company. As a relatively small company, we strive to support our local workers and provide products built in USA. Working as a small business in USA has its challenges since we do not have the mass production assembly lines that companies who produce cheap products overseas do. Thanks to support from homemade ice cream enthusiasts like you, we will continue to build the Immergood Ice Cream Freezers in USA as a small business. We will also do better at looking for machining filings and burs left after building our parts.<br>
