i built a stand and added a hose barb and hose to collect brine in a bucket to allow me to use the freezer indoors without dripping brine on the floor.
it is an improvement when its uncomfortably warm and humid outdoors

I have used the mixer half a dozen times now and am well pleased. Compared to my forty some year old white mountain 4 quart it is very similar in operation once assembled but i find the Immergood less fussy to assemble and clean. it also uses less ice to make six quarts than the old white mountain used to make four quarts. the insulated cover is also an improvement for hardening after churning the custard. it is easy to wipe down in the sink when done compared to a folded bath towel loaded with ice and salt to cover the white mountain.
as much as i have enjoyed my white mountain freezer since the middle 1980's, i am pleased to be using the Immergood.
Time has resulted in the white mountain bucket bands rusting through in spite of my diligence in trying to rinse thoroughly after every use. it also takes a a day of soaking before use to swell the wooden bucket to hold water/brine.
I would recommend the Immergood freezer to anyone who wants a convenient, well made, high quality hand operated ice cream freezer.

Solid and quality item! Way better than the cheap china brands we used to have. From the nice tub to the stainless steel parts. This should last a good long while.

My order was promptly delivered shorty after I placed the order. I've never paid this much for an ice cream freezer and the other brands were cheaply made (mostly in China) and barely lasted a season or two. I can tell this will last for many years o come. We haven't used it yet but are looking forward to the "maiden voyage" very soon...I know that we will be extremely pleased.
