This arrived just in time. We experienced a heatwave in Pa and I was able to let my flock move about the yard in the tractor coop. On really hot days with no breeze I parked them under a tree and the extra shade made everyone happy. I live along a busy road and have many mulched flower beds so free rangeing is not an option. I did my research before I purchased and this was the best tractor that fit my needs. I wanted something I could move myself and that would last. It was super easy to put together. The hens didn't take to the rollaway nesting box at first but now all but one hen uses it. Ordering the tractor was easy and communication with the seller was top notch.

We are so pleased with our AlumiCoop. It's the perfect size for our purposes, and so easy to move around our hay fields. It's so light a child can move it by themself. The instructions for assembly weren't too straightforward, but with the assistance of a YouTube video we had it in working order within an hour. It's so well built, and we look forward to many happy years of use out of this great addition to our farm!

Thus far our experience has been fine. We enjoyed ordering from Homeplace Market, LLC and would purchase from them again. It took my husband and I about half a day to assemble the coop, it being our first time. It may go slightly quicker next time. Everything seems solid and good quality. The 6x10 isn’t a breeze to move like the smaller sizes, but it’s doable and we move it every day. If this year goes well we plan to order more.

Everything arrived undamaged and perfect condition. The seller communicated well what to do if there was issues. I did wish I had known that you needed a square screwdriver head when the pallet arrived for both deattaching from the pallet and assembly but luckily I had one. I assembled the tractor mostly by myself in an afternoon. The coop is sturdy l, the tarp is thick and well sewn and fits perfectly to the coop. All materials are high quality and seem like they will last. Great investment.

We love this chicken tractor! My children move it everyday and it is making a difference already with our pasture! It was easy to put together and we got our chickens out in their new pen super quick! Hoping to get the broiler tractor next year!

I spoke to owner he was responsive to my email and calls I was concerned that I wouldn’t be able to move it myself I am a single small woman in my 50s he reassured me that if his 10 year old could move it I could as well and to my surprise I could very easily! I had it within a week! I would definitely recommend his business and chicken tractor!! Oh it also was easy to assemble!

Having spent thousands of dollars on coops in the past, this is simply the BEST out there. For the first year, we have had zero predator deaths! This coops is worth it!

My husband put this chicken tractor together and repeatedly commented that the assembly instructions were absolutely the best. I own two of these and can’t recommend them enough. I have built many “salatin-esque” coops, many….they’re all in a junk pile now. These alumicoops are a joy to own, easy to assemble and simply put the best coop out there.

The coop is really made and easy to put together. Just waiting for the snow to melt to get it rolling into production. The purchase process was easy and the order dispatched really quickly.
The only bad experience I had was to do with delivery. The price of $450 was very steep when other companies are offering less. When the truck arrived the driver had an attitude, and wouldn't reverse onto my farm driveway. I then had to drag the coop from the road (nearly 500 lbs) across my yard.
I would buy again from Home Place Market but they need to drop the delivery company.

I spent a lot of time researching how to let my chickens 'free range' on a farm FULL of predators. Wendell from sales was really helpful, helping me choose the best option for my flock of 11. The shipping was fast, the product was extremely well packed and arrived in great condition, and I was able to assemble more than half of it by myself prior to my husband becoming curious and wanting to join in the fun. The wheel mechanism is really cool and allows me to maneuver this 6x10 unit by myself on semi-level ground. It does take a bit of strength but I wouldn't want it any lighter as you would lose stability. Our area has substantial winds from time to time, and this unit wasn't phased. My engineer hubby plans to create a hitch of sorts for our lawn tractor to pull it up some of the larger hills that we will encounter to give access to the best grass. I promised I'd share what it comes up with.

The chickens learned to load from their chicken fortress to their new 'bus' within two tries and clearly love the new sites! One hen has figured out the nesting box, while others tend to lay on the ground for now, but it's simple to just elevate the unit and roll past the eggs; no need to go inside, though this size makes that quite easy as well, if a few hens need encouragement to go back to their permanent structure. I really love having a safe place to put them so I can thoroughly clean and use a UV light on their coop to zap bacteria and mites periodically. All in all I'm extremely pleased with my purchase, the customer service I've received to answer all my pre-sale and assembly questions was great, and the quality of the unit makes it clear this was a good investment that will last for a very long time. It is clear that a lot of thought went into the engineering of this chicken tractor; my engineer hubby is tough to impress! Mission accomplished!
