If you’re looking to return or exchange your order for whatever reason, we're here to help! We offer free returns or exchanges within 30 days of receiving your order. You can return your product for store credit, a different product, or a refund to the original payment method. Unless the item is defective, the return shipping will be deducted off the refund.
Please note the following exceptions to our return and exchange policy:
- Discounted items are final and cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Returned items must have tags still on and be returned in original packaging.
- Returned items must have no visible signs of wear or use
- No returns on food items.

Price?
Why does it cost so much for a piece of metal? Two of the largest factors of this product is the price of stainless steel, and the cost of shipping.
The stainless steel prices have went up significantly over the last 3 years. we buy only 304 Grade stainless steel. While we buy it by the trailer load, it still is a cost we cannot ignore.
Many imported items use 400's grade stainless steel. From looking at it, you cannot tell the difference. 400's grade is what they make those nice stainless steel BBQ grills out of that you find at Home Depot. They look nice for a while, but start to rust since it is a low, cheap grade of stainless steel.
For shipping, we have negotiated rates with UPS for the best price possible. Yet, UPS does not deal kindly when pricing the large boxes needed to ship our large and extra large sizes of the drain board box. Our first priority is getting the custom order to you without damage. Then we look for the best rate to ship it to you.

This drainer board is built in a small family metal shop in Lancaster Co. PA by local tradesmen. This purchase directly supports small family owned business.

We were placing extra items on a drying mat. This allows us to dry everything in the space to the left of our sink.

My brother highly recommended this company because he claimed that their work was professional, reliable and with amazing customer service. He said that he had to contact them several times regarding measurement settings, and they were always courteous and resourceful. He was so happy with his order that I decided to give them a try. He did mention however that I had to be very precise with my home measurements and know exactly what I wanted as the final product because they have a bunch of options for customization. This is where the customer service is amazing because they work with you if you contact them with any questions. Keep in mind that since these are special custom orders they do require time but, in my opinion, it is so worth it. They are a reliable company that I will continue to use when the need arises. I've been looking YEARS for a small stainless steel dish drain board to replace those funky old Rubbermaid ones. I finally found Homeplacemarket, and had them custom make one for me to fit the smallish space on my countertop. It was a bit pricey, and took a while - but it was well worth it! It looks great in my kitchen, and it will last a last a lifetime.

We love our custom drainboard. Hickoryware makes excellent products. Their web site made it easy to order, and Wendell in customer service it top notch. He helped us order a "waterfall edge" which is exactly what we needed for that particular sink. Splurge and get the right fit. No more plastic drainboards! After we got the drainboard, we ordered a second item, this time a custom pan for our range. Both are made for a lifetime.

It's weird to feel so satisfied and happy with a dish drain, but that is exactly what happens every time I use and look at it. I ordered on of these a couple of years ago, and it has been wonderful. It was sized perfectly to my drawing, cleans well, has enough fall to drain over the lip on my sink, and doesn't rust!

I had an odd size counter and they built A sturdy drain rack built exactly to specs. No more soggy towels and make shift drain racks. Spend the money and order one to fit your counter, you will be happy you did.
My drop-in cast iron sink has a lip that sits up 14mm. How do I order a tall riser to accommodate the lip so that I can get the correct drainage? Thanks
Hi, with our regular drain boards with one riser, they can accomodate a top set-in sink with a bit of a rise. If you are getting a custom drain board, place in the notes that you want the riser. + .5 inch to accomodate your sink. Thanks
Hello. I am looking to order a custom drip pan for a corner sink. The counter ends at an angle to the corner sink. Is it possible to get an angled end with offset drain opening to match the sink set up?

I am looking at ordering a custom dish drain board (Side A 18", Side B 21" Opening 8"). How tall is the heavy duty riser versus your standard riser? Can I order it with a standard riser in the front and heavy duty in the back?
The heavy duty rear riser and the standard rear riser are the same size. Both 1". The front riser style is the same for heavy-duty or standard duty.
