I have been making egg based custard to put in hand crank ice cream freezers for about forty years. I enjoy the process but there are times when starting the day before to cook the egg mixture and then chill the mix overnight is unhandy or simply not possible.
I purchased the premix from Homeplace Market with the idea of using it when time was an issue.
For the record, I did not follow the instructions to the letter as I replaced part of the milk with heavy whipping cream and this obviously affects the end product.
The result was good. Texture was very smooth and freezing time was similar to home made mix I have used for years. There was none left after everyone ate their fill.
I can recommend the product.
I will also say that I do think the fresh egg/cream mixture that I have used for years is still my preference if time is available to cook and cool the mixture. I may be biased of course.

I've been making ice cream for close to 60 years now. I've seen many changes over that time.
Most of them not in a positive direction. the Immergood product is by far the best home ice cream freezer I've ever had the privilege to own. I've never had any freezer last longer than 8 years before it was worn out. this is one freezer that will probably out last me rather than the other way around. All of which is manufactured in the USA.

Highly recommend! I love everything about it! How structurally sound it is, how many more quarts I can can at one time, and how easy it is to empty the water with the drain spout. I definitely would purchase again!

i built a stand and added a hose barb and hose to collect brine in a bucket to allow me to use the freezer indoors without dripping brine on the floor.
it is an improvement when its uncomfortably warm and humid outdoors
We have had White Mountain makers for 35 years. They were the best until Immergood came out with theirs. We love how quickly it makes ice cream. 15 to 20 minutes and it is done. Use a whole bag less ice and about half the salt. It is high quality, made in the USA and will be here for our great grandchildren. I recommend getting a tub ear on both sides. Will make your life immensely easier. Great service also. Thank you Immergood.

Why? I love supporting American made products and fellow believers. I wanted pans that were not coated or made with aluminum. These bread pans worked beautifully. My gluten free bread tasted wonderful. The delivery worked well. I highly recommend the bread pans and this company. My only suggestion for would be that on the outside of the pan the metal is a bit sharp in places, which I guess is okay if the baker is aware of this. But all in all, I am very pleased. These pans are wonderful, my bread bakes evenly, easy to clean and stack to store. Always glad to purchase American made products
