If you’re looking to return or exchange your order for whatever reason, we're here to help! We offer free returns or exchanges within 30 days of receiving your order. You can return your product for store credit, a different product, or a refund to the original payment method. Unless the item is defective, the return shipping will be deducted off the refund.
Please note the following exceptions to our return and exchange policy:
- Discounted items are final and cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Returned items must have tags still on and be returned in original packaging.
- Returned items must have no visible signs of wear or use
- No returns on food items.
- TRUCK FREIGHT ITEMS, return shipping will be deducted from the refund.

Chickens love to peck at their feed. When building a feeder, Superior Poultry studied poultry and their eating habits to create a feeder that works well for the birds and the farmer. The feed is at the bottom of the cone. The feed is accessed at approx. 3" inside. This all but eliminates any feed spillage. No more rat and mice buffet after the chickens roost for the night.

Training
Some chickens need a learning period of about 2 weeks to learn how to eat out of the feeder. During this time, pour feed in the holes so the red holes are filled with feed. Do not have any other feed source available.
This feeder is designed for adult chickens only. The adult size will vary with breed, but not less than 9 weeks old. For the chick size, we recommend a tray feeder on the ground.
Many users tell us they did not realize how much feed the chickens were wasting until they started using this style feeder!

We bought the hen gear coop- this feeder came with it and it is — ‼️ terrible within one day squirrels ate through the lid and caused all the food to get wed. Does not have replacement parts on site where we bought coop or direct from manufacture - or metal replacement. This is a terrible design for outdoor rat/ squirrel-
$189 is a joke to replace to have same issue. Galvanized metal replacement should be avail over this quality!!

Thanks for asking about the AlumiCoop Feeder. We do not sell the Hen Gear coop. This is from Hen Gear. Nor are we the manufacturer of the feeder. At any rate, we can still help you. We are a family who enjoys the homestead life and serving customers in whatever way possible.
You must have some pretty serious squirrels at your farm. I am not sure why the squirrels would not just go to the bottom and eat the feed like a chicken? Maybe they are afraid of getting 'henpecked'. If you are asking about a replacement lid, we can get you a price for one. If you are just looking to vent your frustration, well then I hope you are feeling better. 😊 If you are looking for ways to control your squirrel population, we have some products that are designed for this as well.

I've read some reviews that it works for geese, installed it and filled it. My American Buffs cannot eat from this feeded, it just sits there full for a month, had to use another feeded to feed them.
I think the problem is that it is too narrow for them to get their head through the opening.

I'm really happy with these feeders!! I also use a Kuhl feeder to keep chores minimal but I love these feeders. Very easy for the chickens and geese to use and easy to change the heights as they grow. Very happy with the simple and effective design. There's a reason they're called Superior Poultry products! You can believe the hype!
