Well made product. Installed in pole garage before concrete. Easy and simple to use. Should make things hassle free later on down the road. Easy to extend height as needed. I’ve already recommended to a few others.

it was pointed out to me that the end should have been male, that way if you need to remove it , when you reattach it to the fitting at the bottom you could rewrap it with teflon tape and have to slather its female end.

Another way to think about it, a female end in the sleeve would require a nipple for every hydrant, since most hydrants come with a female coupling. This would pose a serious problem should you have any issue with the loose nipple in the bottom of a deep hydrant.

This is a game changer. Wish I knew about them before putting my faucets in the first time. Everything worked perfectly. To simplify the process, I used a SS union joint so I could place everything just as i wanted it, and then just connect the Union. Works perfectly, I will install these on the remaining 6 faucets as I replace them.

The hydrant sleeve is as shown and exactly what we needed. After searching and calling multiple suppliers, who couldn't answer my questions, I chose to purchase, at a slightly higher price, from Homeplace Market, simply because I finally spoke to someone who knew the product and gave me instructions on how to use it. This was just what we needed, to protect our water hydrant in our shop. Very easy to install, hopefully we will never have a problem with the hydrant but will be easy to remove and replace.

Though I have not installed it yet due to now cold and frozen ground, the frost free hydrant "Never Dig" system looks to me to be just the ticket. It is very strong, has corrosion resistant metal components (stainless) and they are fastened very securely into the base of the tube. Lengthening it to meet our 6+ foot burial here will be easy, a coupler and a length of tube is all that is needed. Connection at the base underground is no more difficult that installing the frost free hydrant alone. To redig a hole here (very rocky, and the hole gets quite wide), is pretty tough without hiring a backhoe, which would cost WAY more than the cost of the Never Dig. I like it!

Thanks for taking time to share about the features of the hydrant sleeve. Water connections under concrete or down in rock always was something you try to avoid. Although some cannot be avoided, like when connecting items like a frost free hydrant. It makes it an even bigger deal when you need a 6' bury. Hopefully with the hydrant sleeve, you can have one less problem to worry about.
