When I can it is never in small batches.
Previously I had 2 of the big blue canning pots going on my stove top and 1 pot going outside.
It made my kitchen hot and humid.
Being able to do 15 quarts or 36 pints at a time is a huge time saver. And using the 2 burner propane stove outside saves energy as my a/c doesn't have to work as hard to keep the house comfortable
My husband thanked me for being persistent about getting this canner. He loves it. He can sit on the little porch shed in the shade while keeping an eye on the canner
Love how the lid fits and reduces evaporation.
Love that it's welded not soldered and made in the US.

I have used my canner once; making tomatillo Verde sauce. I am pleased to find well made products that are still made in America. I really like the inverted lid that keeps most of the condensation in, so that I don't have to add water very often. Thank you for making these Amish- made products available to us. I am looking forward to using it again.
Great canner and extra shelf. More jars to can at once! Couldn't be happier. Welded not soldered, makes a difference if you're looking at a different brand.
