How about ice cream for the crowd! The 8 qt. freezer from Immergood sets the standard for durability and longevity! The Immergood Homemade Ice Cream Maker will be a hit at any gathering.
We enjoy good ice cream, and I imagine you do too... start out with a vanilla base and let the fun begin. After the mixture has started to firm, you can add fruit like strawberries, fresh picked raspberries or sweets. When adding soft chocolate, add it just before you stop churning, it will stay softer and if done right, you may be able to get some of that chocolate shell effect like bought ice cream.
What is better... creamy delicious ice cream, fun making it and an ice cream freezer that will likely outlast your generation.
Ice Cream Maker Features
- QUIET, REALLY QUIET, You will want to look in the clear lid to see if the ice cream is ready. It is so quiet, you will not hear it bog down when the ice cream is ready.
- IMMERGOOD MOTOR, 110 volt motor, built from the ground up to be strong yet full of features. Motor has an On/Off Switch with circuit board controls to protect your motor.
- BUILT IN PROTECTION, The circuit board contains an Amp controller that will shut off the motor before it overheats or breaks a gear if you forget about it and let it run until the ice cream is as hard as a rock.
- STAINLESS STEEL, Yup, the motor metal, dasher, can, handles - everything that can be made stainless steel. No alloys or zinc plating here.
- TRIPLE ACTION DASHER Yes, this is real Stainless Steel AND triple action. The Can turns CCW, The scraper turns CW, The center turns CCW. This constant folding technique makes creamy smooth ice cream.
- LEAK PROOF TUB Built with poly, made with Roto-Mold technology. After molding, the tub is filled with Premium insulation. This process is similar to how the Yetti branded coolers are made.
- LONG LIFE FOR ICE Your ice will last a long time, just sitting in the tub. Add the accessory Tub Cover, place your can in the tub with a packing of ice, and your ice will last 24, 48 hours plus!
- DELRIN TUB CENTER A long life plastic with lubrication properties, this pivot point the can sits on will never rust and is guaranteed to last a long, long, time.

Instructions
Delicious homemade ice cream coming up! Start by choosing a recipe (recipe book included). You can also buy our pre-maid ingredient mix and just add the liquid ingredients.
Fill your can with the refrigerated mix and place the can in the tub and attach the motor.
Fill the tub 2/3 full of ice. Add 1 cup of salt on the ice.
Fill the tub up to the top of the can with ice. Add 3 cups of salt on top of the ice.
Plug in the motor, turn the motor ON
Top off the tub with ice, add more ice and salt as needed.
Be sure the drain holes stays open. This lets the water run off as the ice melts. Otherwise, the salty water will end up in the ice cream. Churning will take 15-30 minutes. It depends on the salt brine, and the recipe for the ice cream used.
You will likely find that the insulated tub will allow ice to last longer and ice cream to freezer faster, compared to the wooden tubs of yesterday.

We’ve had a 20 year relationship with our 6qt. White Mountain ice cream freezer. When it finally went out and I found they were no longer made, I searched for a quality replacement. I found the Immergood freezers and were impressed with all of the features and good build quality. I was hesitant because of the higher cost, but after finding no negative reviews and considering the longevity which would result from the quality construction, I decided to go ahead and get the 8 qt electric motor model with the insulated tub lid. Homeplace Market was great to work with and was very accommodating with the engraving option on the motor housing. Tonight was the inaugural batch made for a group of about 40+. I stuck with our tried and true White Mountain vanilla recipe and the feedback was great. Texture & consistency was classic, old fashioned homemade…nice and firm, not soupy or icy…perfect! On top of the great ice cream, the machine froze it in 25 mins & was surprisingly very quiet! Highly recommend Homeplace Market & the Immergood freezers!

On our first use with the freezer, I found a piece of metal in the bottom of the dasher. It could have gotten into the icecream! Quality control failed. This was a very expensive freezer and I was very surprised to find this. I am going to tsend a picture .

I would love to hear more about your experience with the rest of the freezer. The cost of the freezer is a reflection of the costs of solid stainless steel, insulated poly tub, and USA manufacturing where employees receive a living wage. It is NOT a result of high profit margins like luxury brands where half the price of the product is profit. If the freezer does not live up to your expectations, you are welcome to return the freezer.

'I should have continued the review with the rest of the freezer. We are very pleased with the product. It does an excellent job freezing. We make homemade ice cream weekly. We already had the immergood 6 qt bucket and really liked it so we wanted to purchase the 8 qt freezer with the immergood motor. It is well constructed. We have gone thru at least 5 white mountain freezers during our 45 years of marriage, so the immergood , I am sure, will last is foe a long time.'

Immerbgood is a little bit difficult to seat inner tub and clamp on motor, but the result is excellent. Ice cream like my mother taught me to make in a land far away. Perfect recipe and churns in about 25 minutes. Last problem: have to limit the amount - can't stop eating it.

I’ve only used my new machine twice, but both were flawless. The motor is quiet and powerful. Everything worked as expected. It appears to be well made. I do like the stainless steel components.
A bit disappointed that the warranty is only a year on the motor. Spending nearly $700 you would think the warranty would last at least a few years.

After years of using lesser ice cream makers, I finally bought the real deal. Over this past weekend I made chocolate ice cream per my father's request. He was skeptical that we'd need 8 quarts, but with fifteen family members I was tired of running out before everyone had their fill. All 8 quarts disappeared. Fast. This ice cream maker is like buying a new Mercedes when you're accustomed to driving a 25-year-old Nissan. The dasher and tub is substantial. The bucket kept the ice cream frozen for four hours until dinner was finished. The motor was so silent I kept checking to see if it had stopped (during the 25 minutes it took to complete its task). The ice cream was, as my five-year-old stated, "the best I've ever had." Using my old recipe, the texture was much better than what we're used to having. Clean-up was an absolute breeze. The price is premium, but you get value for money. I wish we'd bought this twenty years ago. This coming weekend I think I'll try mint chocolate chip!

This freezer is amazing on cold retention outside does not sweat. I bought the electric version with Immergood motor and it is very powerful I also ordered the hand crank for my grandkids. Also got the top to keep it frozen. I’m very happy with the customer service they answered emails quickly. My Whtte Mountain freezer has served us well but is leaky and stops before finished. To be fair it's old. The Immergood looked high quality in the pictures online. Couldn't imagine spending so much on an icecream freezer that I might use 5-10 times a year. I have made one freezer of ice cream with the new Immergood. Wow. Quiet and powerful. Very happy so far.

This is an excellent freezer. I was expecting a lot for the money, and it exceeded my expectations. I assumed it would be consumer grade stainless steel, but was amazed to find that it is all food grade (non-magnetic) stainless. Every piece of it is very well made. The motor is quiet and strong. The two-piece counterrotating paddle works well. It makes a better quality product than any other freezer I have ever used. I don’t believe I will ever have to replace it.
