Liked the design of bracket but it is rusting a week after installing
Hi,
Thanks for sharing about the rust on the bracket. The bracket is made of stainless steel, so will not rust by itself. The rust forming on the surface is a contaminate from either manufacturing or during your installation process. This could be from drilling above the bracket, having the bracket laying nearby when drilling regular steel or something as simple as have steel wool shavings on the bracket.
Solution: rub, polish or buff the rust off. The rust is only on the surface and will not continue to eat away the metal.
I bought this via Amazon because of the easy return policy given I wasn’t sure of the product’s dimensions, but NO WORRIES. My large glass pie pans just fit (I cannot abide pans with large rims or handles because they mess with the all-important crust pinch). If you have those sorts of pie pans, they will not fit. That said, I would buy new pans that do fit because this product is extraordinary. My baked goods arrive totally safe regardless of a bumpy ride or a dip-diddle mate who insists on taking mountain curves at Clyde Crashcup speed. The quality is exceptional—very sturdy and easy to clean. I couldn’t be more impressed!

On our first use with the freezer, I found a piece of metal in the bottom of the dasher. It could have gotten into the icecream! Quality control failed. This was a very expensive freezer and I was very surprised to find this. I am going to tsend a picture .

Thanks for letting us know about a piece of metal that was not cleaned out properly. I am surprised you found this as well. I am very sorry this was not noticed before shipping, and am thankful that it did not get in the ice cream. I suppose it just goes to show we are human and have the ability to make mistakes. I will pass this constructive criticism along to the folks in the shop who do the final inspection and packing.

I would love to hear more about your experience with the rest of the freezer. The cost of the freezer is a reflection of the costs of solid stainless steel, insulated poly tub, and USA manufacturing where employees receive a living wage. It is NOT a result of high profit margins like luxury brands where half the price of the product is profit. If the freezer does not live up to your expectations, you are welcome to return the freezer.
