We have the 15qt and then bought the 24qt as well. Both are amazing and very good quality. The drain valves are what made the decision for us. We use these canners in the garage on portable gas burners and when we’re done just hook up a garden hose and send it out the door. GREAT PRODUCTS!! Worth every penny

Heavy duty and so easy to fill and empty. Takes one side of stove freeing your other burners to continue prep...or start dinner. If you can at all this is the item you need. best water bath canner on the market but the drain valve is made in china

This is by far the best canner on the market i have one of the soldered canners and its always on your mind if its going to leak.The only problem i have with this canner is the drain valve.On the handle lock it says china,i just could not bring myself to install it so i just installed a plug instead of the valve,If i had to do it again i would buy the canner without the valve.its not that big a deal to empty the water from the canner (For the record if you could find a valve made in the usa it would cost way to much) Great product and fast delivery if you order direct from this site

Yes, the ball valve is imported. However, as you mentioned, we have yet to find a locking ball valve made in USA under $60 wholesale. The idea of a ball valve made in USA is a thought, but never would I put a valve on a canner that is not locking. The risk of serious burns is too risky.
The craftmanship is superior to other water bath canners I have looked at. I can't wait until we can start canning this fall

I’m so happy with this product! I love the drain ( just attached a small hose to drain and put into sink, open valve and drains in seconds when finished) the extra rack was wonderful! I wish I had found this years ago, this is going to make my canning so much easier and faster!! Thank you!

Can you double stack the pint jars in this canner if you purchase the additional plate?
You can double stack pints if you accept the top of the jars not being completely covered. The second rack works very well for double stacking jelly jars.
