I love this ice cream maker! I had been shopping for an ice cream maker with a stainless steel tub for a couple of years. I finally decided to purchase one. The Immergood checked off my list of needs, is made in the USA and is well worth the money! It makes ice cream in about 35 minutes even in the Alabama summer heat!

Thank you so much good IMMERGOOD and HOMEPLACEMARKET. Before purchasing the 6 qt ice cream freezer I called Immergood and I spoke with Wendell Zeiset. Wendell was personable and very knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions and after15 minutes - probably longer and based on the information Wendell provided I decided to purchase the 6qt electric ice cream freezer and also the manual crank for when the grand kids come over- we can hand crank the ice cream. The unit arrived just a few days (2days) later and was very well packaged. The unit is heavy duty. The stainless steel electric motor is very well made. The dasher and canister, both stainless steel are built to last. The hand crank, which is interchangeable with the electric motor is also stainless and well made. I’ve now made 3 batches of ice cream with the hand crank and one batch with the motor. Ice cream is pretty well set up in about 20 minutes of cranking and delicious. Easy clean up- but take the time to clean this well. I expect that my grand kids will be using this very same unit to make ice cream for their own kids and most likely for generations thereafter. Awesome American made high quality product that will be a part of family memories for generations.

We have had White Mountain makers for 35 years. They were the best until Immergood came out with theirs. We love how quickly it makes ice cream. 15 to 20 minutes and it is done. Use a whole bag less ice and about half the salt. It is high quality, made in the USA and will be here for our great grandchildren. I recommend getting a tub ear on both sides. Will make your life immensely easier. Great service also. Thank you Immergood.

I bought a White Mountain several years ago and had nothing but problems. I really thought I had bought a forever and heirloom appliance. I bought this ice cream maker due to their attention to details and quality. For me, it was worth the investment. I ran my first batch and was amazed how quiet it was. With the White Mountain I had to wear earplugs!!I read that some one reported a dent upon unpacking. I too found the same issue. The dent is just cosmetic but it is due to the paddle shaft breaking through the corrugated cardboard. They can fix this easily by placing a protective plastic cover on the shaft.I’m looking forward to many years of service! Fingers crossed!!

I love that the dasher moves two ways. Scrapers and. Mixer. Heavy built. I can make 6 qts 27 mins faster than 4 qts simple standard machine that was my go to. And reliable to an extent. I am completely satisfied with this mixer. Actually overly satisfied. I should have just ordered the long spoon! 🥄

I burnt up a few white mountains and came across the Immergood. Vastly superior to the White Mountain.. this is in a class all by its self.

I have used it 7 times since getting it two weeks ago.

The ice cream sets up beautifully … I can make a second batch after waiting only fifteen minutes for the USA motor to cool a bit.

I love the stainless steel bucket and paddle… no rust or nasty black residue like you get from the white mountain.

The clear lid is a nice touch to be able to see how the ice cream is progressing.

It’s nice to know there are still folks who take pride in true craftsmanship. I recommend Home Place Market and Immergood 100 percent!

This ice cream maker is worth the price. It is built extra heavy duty. The electric motor is quiet. The triple motion dasher makes for creamy ice cream. The well insulated bucket means you use less salt and ice to freeze the ice cream. 👍

We are honing in on our ice cream making skills and it is wonderful. The last batch we made finally scoops like store bought right out of the freezer. The kids love it. Making sugarless ice cream is fun and pretty easy once the steps are down. The quality of the machine makes quality ice cream.

I thought it was overpriced but it is very fast freezing, fairly easy to use, and is very sturdy. I’ve used it 3 times and the average freeze time is 20 minutes plus the large 6 qt is nice.

When making ice cream, I could never get it hard enough . . . that is until I used the ice cream maker. The first bowl was as hard as I’ve ever had and it took less than 30 minutes. After serving all we wanted and letting it sit in the bucket for about 30 minutes, it took some serious effort to get the ice cream out of the bucket because it was so hard. First impression is this freezer is everything it’s sold to be. Only time will tell if the quality will stand the test of time. However, all indications this is a one and done kind of freezer.

I was looking for a ice cream freezer right before the 4th of July. Website did not show the model I was looking for in stock. Made a product inquiry and was contacted very quickly. They had a couple freezers on hand that had not been added to the website yet. Was able to purchase and ship half way across the country. Received the product a day early even! Was updated every step of the way. I also ordered another tub latch so I could lift the motor straight off. I was very happy to find that it was installed for me before shipping. Would not hesitate to purchase from Homeplace!

Now for the freezer. This thing is built like a tank. I used this freezer along with my grandmothers White Mountain and here is what I observed. The motor is so quiet you can carry on a conversation without raising your voice, the Immergood used 1/3 of the ice of the White Mountain and froze in 12 minutes vs the 28 of the White Mountain. The tub cover is a big bonus! After we served, I put the cover on with the 1/2 tub of ice that was left over. 4 hours later we served the remaining ice cream and it was even harder than it was originally.

Our kids loved the experience and we look forward to many more years of using it with them.

Very expensive, but very worthwhile replacement for our worn out White Mountain 6 quart electric ice cream freezer.
After searching and shocked that we couldn’t just buy our 5th White Mountain replacement, I dove in due to the detailed reviews satisfying my Mechanical Engineering concerns.
First freeze was a success. It took 45 minutes, much much quieter, less ice, no leaking salty ice water everywhere. He also loves the clear lid which I thought was a cheap way out after all the years with a metal lid. I’m on board now, but saving a metal lid from an old machine just in case 😊.

Our grand child is super happy our college start at ice cream on weekends is still going strong.
We like this machine way better than our White Mountains, but we are so glad they paved the way!

Just used mine this weekend, and I can say without a doubt that it is the quietest ice cream maker I've ever seen. Great quality and I expect to use it for many years to come.
Things I love: 1) The ultra quiet motor, 2) The see through can lid, 3) Insulated tub.
Things I don't like: None!
My only minor critiques on the design: 1) I wish the tub handle was longer to fit over the motor, that's an easy fix I made myself, 2) You have to remove the dasher to install the tub cover, which I understand why otherwise you probably wouldn't be able to remove the dasher with hard ice cream, however the option would be nice.
Again these are minor and don't let this keep you from buying one.

I just received the electric motor for my 6 quart freezer. I’m excited to use it today on my birthday! I’m wondering what is the optimum setting for hardness? Is it like 7? Also, if it is 7, do I put it on 7 to start with or move it up as the cream freezes? Thanks

My only note to heed is that 6 quarts is a lot of ice cream and I'd probably been fine with the 4 quart and not subject to significant weight gain. :)
